Six Philadelphia Hockey Club teams have advanced to the 2023-24 Atlantic Youth Hockey League’s (AYHL) playoffs that begin on Saturday, March 2 and will conclude on Monday, March 4. All games will be held at Ice Line in West Chester, PA.
The playoff bound teams are: 10U Squirt Minor’s (14’s), 10U Squirt Major (13’s), 12U Pee Wee Minor Premier (12’s), 13 Pure Premier (10’s), Bantam Major Premier (09’s) and 16U Elite (07/08).
10U Squirt Minor (’14 birth year) finished the regular season in second place posting a 22-5-0-1 record for 45 points. They will host the Long Island Royals at 7:00AM on Saturday; Away against the North Jersey Avalanche on Saturday at 2:15PM and will host the Little Flyers on Sunday at 9:15AM. The championship game will be held on Monday at 8:00AM.
10U Squirt Major (’13 birth year) was the President’s Cup champion posting a 30-1-1-0 record for 61 points. They host the Long Island Royals on Saturday at 8:45AM and then host the Valley Forge Minutemen on Saturday at 2:30PM. They will host the Little Flyers on Sunday at 7:30AM. The championship game is on Monday at 10:00AM.
12U Pee Wee Minor Premier (’12 birth year) came in first during the season with a 21-3-2-0 record for 44 points. They will host the Little Flyers on Saturday at 8:45AM. They will host the New Jersey Colonials on Sunday at 7:30AM and then host the Jr. Flyers on Sunday at 2:45PM. The championship game will be held on Monday at 9:00AM.
13 Pure Premier (’10 birth year) finished in third place posting at 14-5-0-1 record for 29 points. They will play on Saturday at 12:15PM against the Jr. Flyers. They then will play the Washington Little Capitals on Sunday at 12:30PM and then they will play at 8:00PM against the North Jersey Avalanche. The championship game will be held on Monday at 11:15AM.
The Bantam Major Premier (’09 birth year) team finished in fourth place posting a 12-6-2-0 record for 26 points. They will play the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights on Saturday at 12:30PM, and they will then play the Jr. Flyers on Sunday at 12:45PM and later that day at 6:45PM against the Long Island Royals. The championship game will be held on Monday at 10:30AM.
The 16U Elite (‘07/’08 birth years) team finished in third posting a 20-4-3-1 record for 44 points. They will play the New York Saints on Saturday at 6:00PM. The championship game will be held on Sunday at 4:00PM.
