The Philadelphia Hockey Club is pleased to announce that long time alum Santino Capone has committed to play NCAA Division III Ice Hockey for the Arcadia University Knights, who play in the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC).
Capone played his youth hockey mostly out of Hollydell with the Hurricanes and PHC. After finishing playing 18U with PHC during the 2021-22 season, he went onto play for the Hampton Roads Whalers of the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) for the 2022-23 campaign where he recorded a total of 33 points (10 goals and 23 assists) in 42 games. He also served as the team’s assistant captain.
Upon finishing his junior career, Capone, a Turnersville, NJ native, began his college career last season at Arcadia totaling 40 points (12 goals and 28 assists) in 24 ACHA games. Because of his exceptional season at the ACHA level, he earned his NCAA commitment and will play on the University’s NCAA Division III team in the upcoming 2024-25 season.
Arcadia University is located in Glenside, PA.
