James is a Harvard University commitment who has competed in the USHL for the past two seasons. In 2023-24, James appeared in 45 games for the Madison Capitals. The 6'6" defenseman is currently playing for the Cedar Rapids Roughriders and has recorded one goal and one assist in 14 games.
