PHC EHL defenseman Jesse Shogan makes NCAA commitment to Lebanon Valley College

The Philadelphia Hockey Club, proud members of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), are pleased to announce that defenseman Jesse Shogan has committed to play NCAA Division III Ice Hockey for the Lebanon Valley Flying Dutchmen, who play in the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC). His commitment begins in the fall of 2025.

Shogan, a native of Syosset, NY, is in his second season with PHC. To date, he has appeared in 76 games played and recorded nine points (all assists). This year Shogan has played in 28 games played earning four points.

“I'm excited and honored to be spending the next four years at Lebanon Valley College,” said Shogan. “I want to give a huge thank you to all of my family, friends and coaches who helped me get to where I am today. More specifically, I am very thankful for all the help and support Coach Bartholomay and Coach Matiskiel have given me over the past two years at the PHC Organization. I am very excited to become a Dutchman and develop under Coach Parsons to further develop my academic and athletic career” stated Shogan.

“I am very happy for Jesse” said PHC Head Coach and General Manager Adam Bartholomay. “His hard work and dedication to the process the last two seasons with PHC shows his commitment on and off the ice. Thank you to Don Parsons and the staff at LVC for making this a steady and easy process. Good Luck to Jesse and the LVC Family” concluded Bartholomay.

Lebanon Valley College head coach Don Parsons stated: “we were very happy to hear of Jesse's commitment to Lebanon Valley College. He will undoubtedly make an immediate impact on our back end in all three zones and better yet, he is a perfect for the culture we breed at LVC” concluded Parsons.
