The Philadelphia Hockey Club, proud members of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), is pleased to announce that defenseman Adam Allwein has committed to play ACHA Ice Hockey for the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Crimson Hawks. His commitment begins in the fall of 2025.
Allwein, a native of Lebanon, PA, had three total points (all assists) in 39 games played for PHC during the past two seasons.
“I want to start by thanking my parents and coaches for all their support and guidance over the years,” said Allwein. “I'm especially grateful to the entire Hollydell family and Coach Bartholomay for everything they've done for me these past three years. Calling Hollydell home has meant the world to me, and I'm proud to carry that experience with me as I continue playing at IUP” concluded Allwein.
“We could not be more thrilled and happier for Adam Allwein to land at a school and program that has family history attached to it” stated PHC Head Coach and General Manager Adam Bartholomay. “His father went to Indiana University of Pennsylvania and now to have Adam there is amazing. We want to thank Adam for the last three years here at PHC and can't wait to watch him at college. Best of luck!” added Bartholomay.
