The Philadelphia Hockey Club, proud members of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), are pleased to announce that forward Dante Vassallo has committed to play NCAA Division III Ice Hockey for the Hiram College Terriers, who will play in the North Coast Atlantic Conference (NCAC) beginning with the upcoming 2025-26 season.
Vassallo, a Medford, NJ native, played in 33 games this past season for PHC earning seven total points (2 goals and 5 assists) in 33 games played. One of his goals was a game winner.
“I would like to thank my parents and coaches over the years for their support and guidance” said Vassallo. “I'm especially grateful for the entire Hollydell family and Coach Bartholomay for taking a chance on me three years ago. That's why I'm extremely grateful for this opportunity and excited to continue my journey as a Terrier” stated Vassallo.
"Dante is a world class player who will do anything for the team to succeed” said PHC Head Coach and General Manager Adam Bartholomay. “He has and always will be one of the hardest working players I have come across in my time as a coach. He will bring tremendous effort and positive attitude to a new Team and I look forward to watching him strive at the next level,” concluded Bartholomay.
Terriers head coach Jeffrey Curto said this about Vassallo: “Dante is the type of player every team needs. he is coachable and does the little things that are needed to be successful.”
Hiram College, located in Hiram, OH, will begin their inaugural season in the fall of 2025.
