The Philadelphia Hockey Club, proud members of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), are pleased to announce that assistant captain and forward Roman Winicki has committed to play NCAA Division III Ice Hockey for the Saint Michael’s College Purple Eagles. His commitment begins in the fall of 2024.

Winicki, 20, led PHC this past season with 34 total points (12 goals and 22 assists). The East Setauket, NY native also led the team in assists (22).

"I am super excited to start this next chapter of my hockey and collegiate career," said Winicki. "Would like to thank my parents and special thanks to Coach Adam for helping me get to this point. I could not have done it without the support of my family and PHC."

"We could not be more proud to announce that Roman Winicki is committing to play his college hockey at Saint Michaels College," said PHC head coach and general manager Adam Bartholomay. "He was a leader both on and off the ice, all while leading our team in points this season. We wish Roman the best and look forward to watching him succeed in college."

Saint Michael’s College is located in Colchester, VT.
